Follow the RULES or Follow the FOOLS
Please be sure to carefully read and follow the rules to keep yourself out of trouble! We made the rules as simple and direct as possible to make it easier for you to understand. If you have any questions, please contact our admins; we’ll be more than happy to clarify for you!
GR | Do not apply to be a member when we are not "OPEN"
The group has openings at the first of every other month; if you apply to the group while we are closed, you will be declined membership. We are currently perma-open; but, please make sure to read the journals before applying. We take activity seriously.
GR | Be Respectful
You don't have to be friends with everyone, but please be respectful towards other members in the group. Do not intentionally start fights in the chat; refrain from bringing up personal drama outside the infirmary, and don’t harass other members. If another member is harassing you/you have an issue with another member, please inform our admins so we can address the issue.
GR | Keep the Chat PG-13
This is a family-friendly group. We have children here, so please refrain from using explicit language/engaging in inappropriate discussion/sharing inappropriate images in public chats. If you want to discuss R-18 related content, then please take it to DM.

GR | THIS GROUP IS 13+!
Please do not apply to SIA if you are. under 13 years of age. As we are a Discord-based group, we must abide by Discord's terms of service. As such, we cannot accept members younger than 13. Lying about your age to join early is punishable by ban.

GR | Hiatuses and Extensions
If for whatever reason you are going to be inactive for long periods of time, please DM one of our admins/leave a message in the student council channel on our discord server to be put on the hiatus list. Please refrain from letting us know at the last second, if at all possible. In addition, please do not take advantage of hiatuses to dodge activity checks. We understand that sometimes life happens and you may have no other choice, but when possible please be sure to give us notice at least 1 week in advance if you plan to go on hiatus. The hiatus list exists to help you if something urgent comes up; exams, other school-related issues, life/family/medical issues, etc. Please refrain from requesting a hiatus unless you absolutely need to. We will not tolerate abuse of the system just to avoid activity checks.
Remember: When you are on the hiatus, you cannot take part in events or post art to the group. Once you state you are out of hiatus you cannot go back on the hiatus list for a full month.
If you are going to be inactive for a shorter period of time however, but will not be able to complete the activity check (one halfbody + flat colored picture of your OC/one coord every 6 months) during that time, you may also request an extension. Extensions will allow you extra time to complete an activity check if you do not have the time to finish a submission before the deadline. Extensions may only last a maximum of ONE WEEK past the activity check deadline. If you are in need of a longer extension than this, then you should consider taking a hiatus instead.
If you fail to complete your submission before your extension period is over, one of your activity check passes (a special item that can be earned by gaining student EXP that allows you to bypass one activity check) will be used. If you have no activity check passes, then you will be removed from the group.
CCR | No Mary-sues or Gary-sues
Please try to keep your character balanced. Be realistic about their history and personality as well. We don't want an overly depressing person that’s nothing but a huge ball of depression, nor a perfect person who hasn't seen a single ounce of sadness in their life. In addition, Godmodding is not allowed. TL;DR - Be realistic with your character.
CCR | No Rip-off Characters
Do not claim a character from another series as your own or make a character which takes heavy reference from already existing anime or cartoon characters; copying other people’s work is considered plagiarism, and is illegal. Be Original! They can be similar to other characters, but not too similar.
CCR | Characters may only be in ONE GROUP at a time
This is fairly self-explanatory. If you wish to apply an OC to SIA, they must not be currently enrolled in ANY OTHER RP GROUPS outside of SIA. This is to avoid confusion in regards to both story and your character's EXP, as if they are in more than one group, then it would be unclear as to which pieces are intended for SIA, and which pieces are intended for other groups.
Please keep in mind that simply changing a character's name and/or personality/story to adapt to another group does NOT make them a different character. Reusing your OC's likeness for other groups while they are still enrolled in SIA is strictly prohibited. You are welcome to adapt old OCs to fit SIA's universe in order to join, but please be certain that they are not currently enrolled in any other groups before doing so.
AR | No /Bases/Tracing/Stealing/AI Artwork
Please respect the hard work of other members who draw without using any base or tracing. If you post something that looks like it was traced, created with a base, or stolen, you will be investigated immediately. It's okay to use references for posing and such, but please refrain from directly copying/tracing over another piece of artwork.. In addition, AI generated artwork of any kind is strictly prohibited, and will not be accepted into the group. Repeated use of bases or AI art after recieving a warning is punishable by ban.
AR | Activity Check
As a member of this group, you will need to pass an activity check; at least one half-body drawing, lined and colored*, submitted every 6 months (we check at the end of June and December!). Failing to follow the activity check will result in your being kicked from the group. Sketches, headshots, chibis, and artwork posted on dA will NOT count towards the activity check.
* For designers activity check, please check our Designer Course journal.
AR | Sketch/Art-dumps
When posting a sketch-dump or art-dump, please separate images that go towards student EXP from images going towards idol EXP. You'll be doing the admins a great favor as they count the exp for you.
AR | Mature Tag
This is a family friendly group; as such, we request you please refrain from submitting R-18/adult content to the group, if at all possible. If you create/wish to share something that might be inappropriate for children, please do not submit it to the group/keep it to DMs.
RR | Be Flexible in RPs
Do not invite someone to RP with your character and treat them poorly because “That is their character.” This is a forced god-mod because you have trapped them in a situation where they HAVE to reply to verbally abusive actions. It's OK to stay true to your character's personality, but be flexible in RPs.
RR | Be Realistic V.02
Please keep the RP realistic; the group is set in a real-world environment, meaning there is no magic and we adhere to real-world physics and limitations. We don't want random students jumping from a 3-story building and still managing to stay alive or summoning devils from a secret underground, etc. Please refrain from breaking the reality of the setting.
RR | No Ship Chasing
Don't make shipping your main priority in this RP group. We are here to have fun, so please refrain from chasing/rushing ships unreasonably. This will make others uncomfortable.
